I was privileged to attend a session by Carey Dunai Lohrenz, at Citrix Summit 2020. A hugely inspirational personality, Carey is the first female F-14 Tomcat Fighter Pilot in U.S. Navy. In her motivating and engaging keynote session at citrixsummit , Carey shared her fascinating experiences operating in one of the world's most challenging environments - an aircraft carrier. She is uniquely qualified in the fundamentals of winning under pressure, reducing errors and overcoming obstacles. Her supreme mastery of these fundamentals were made easily relatable by her awesome story-telling skills, blended with humor. This rare combination made up for some great learnings that can be applied at workplaces. As challenging as it was, i have attempted to amalgamate my learnings from this session in this sketchnote. And if i need to pick-up top 3 learnings, they would be: 1. Leadership's no. 1 challenge: Everyone understands the purpose. 2. Courage is 20-Second Sprint. Tenacity, the 5-hour marathon. 3. Make fear your my copilot. If you are not fearing atleast once a day, you are getting in comfort zone. Thank you Citrix and the organizing teams for an awesome citrixsummit.
